Senator Joe Simidian hires security expert Jonathan Westhues, to demonstrate how easy it is to copy and clone door access entry into a corporate building. He caught the information by one of the workers using her door pass when she got to the building. The demonstration results in Jonathan gaining entry into a building with rfid tagged control access. Very few RF tags are encrypted. They would cost more for the companies. Senator Simidian has been actively involved keeping his constituents' freedoms intact. He recently sponsored a bill (SB 362) making it illegal for employers to require their employees get tracking devices implanted into their skin. |
